The Flexaust Heat-Flex BDS fibergl duct hose, used for high temperature ventilation and fume exhaust applications, is an iron-oxide red, silicone-coated, single-ply fibergl fabric hose, reinforced with a spring steel wire helix and external filament fibergl cord. It resists water, fungus, ozone, alkalis, and a wide range of oils and solvents, and is very flexible and compressible for easy manipulation. A temperature range of -65 to 550 degrees F makes it suitable for such applications as brake ducting and hot-air drying systems. This non-kinking fibergl duct hose has a narrow-pitch helix to allow a short bend radius while maintaining efficient air flow.
